You are the Giver, the Great Giver; we eat whatever You give us.
ਪਉੜੀ ॥
पउड़ी ॥
Paoṛī.
Pauree:
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਪਰਭਾਤਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਹੀ ਗਾਵਣਾ ॥
रैणि दिनसु परभाति तूहै ही गावणा ॥
Raiṇ ḏinas parbẖāṯ ṯūhai hī gāvṇā.
Night and day, morning and night, I sing to You, Lord.
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਰਬਤ ਨਾਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਵਣਾ ॥
जीअ जंत सरबत नाउ तेरा धिआवणा ॥
Jīa janṯ sarbaṯ nāo ṯėrā ḏẖiāvaṇā.
All beings and creatures meditate on Your Name.
ਤੂ ਦਾਤਾ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਖਾਵਣਾ ॥
तू दाता दातारु तेरा दिता खावणा ॥
Ŧū ḏāṯā ḏāṯār ṯėrā ḏiṯā kẖāvṇā.
You are the Giver, the Great Giver; we eat whatever You give us.
ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਪ ਗਵਾਵਣਾ ॥
भगत जना कै संगि पाप गवावणा ॥
Bẖagaṯ janā kai sang pāp gavāvṇā.
In the congregation of the devotees, sins are eradicated.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਵਣਾ ॥੨੫॥
जन नानक सद बलिहारै बलि बलि जावणा ॥२५॥
Jan Nānak saḏ balihārai bal bal jāvṇā. 25
Servant Nanak is forever a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, O Lord. 25
