Yesterday I attended the kirtan Programme by Raj Academy led by Prof.Surinder Singh at historical Gurudwara Nanak Piao Delhi.This is the place where Guru Nanak must have done kirtan with Bhai Mardana using Rabab.Kirtan was amazing.I was spellbound.Just imagine doing kirtan in nirdharit raags of Guru Granth Sahib and using traditional sikh insruments with which our Gurus used to do kirtan.Instruments Rabab,Saranda,Dilruba,Sarangi along with Pakhawaj were used.
